Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kona is a stunning orange Maine Coon who quickly showed his affectionate, social nature when he joined his current home. He formed strong bonds with his people within days and has proven himself to be a loving, engaging, and very interactive companion. Kona is a confident, active cat who thrives on attention and being involved in daily life. He is talkative, playful, and often carries his favorite stuffed toys around the house, bringing them to his humans to initiate playtime.
Kona enjoys being pet and cuddling on his own terms and is known to sleep right next to his people at night, sometimes even bringing toys into the bedroom to share. He purrs readily, follows his family from room to room, greets them at the door, and truly enjoys human companionship. While he is very affectionate, Kona does have clear boundaries—he does not love being picked up and will let you know when he's all done. He does best with cat-savvy adults and teens who can respect his signals and allow him to choose how and when affection happens.
Kona is very energetic and playful and enjoys interactive toys, wand toys, and rough-and-tumble play. He can occasionally get mouthy when overstimulated and benefits from regular, structured play sessions to help channel his energy appropriately!
Kona will thrive best as the only pet and looking for a home with out other animals, where he can be the center of attention and not have to share space or resources.
Kona is a bold, affectionate, and charismatic Maine Coon who wants to be the star of the show. With the right environment—one that respects his boundaries, provides plenty of enrichment and play, and appreciates his big personality—Kona will be an incredibly rewarding companion. His family loves him deeply and is committed to ensuring he transitions into a home where he can truly thrive.
