Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gucci came to DCAS as an owner surrender due to the saddening passing of his previous owner. Gucci requires a committed cat parent who can care for him with proper awareness of medical attention for his condition. He has hyperthyroidism, which is a condition in which the thyroid gland produces an excessive amount of hormones that irritates the digestive tract, elevates blood pressure, overactivates the metabolism, and can stress the heart in some cases.
Gucci will need a lifelong treatment of an inexpensive twice daily medication that helps manage his condition. Gucci may need an experienced cat parent, who doesn`t mind keeping up with his necessary vet visits to ensure he is in the best health he can be.
When Gucci isn`t busy playing with wand toys, this spry gentleman enjoys company. He is a loveable furball who has lived with and gotten along with dogs but may prefer to be the only cat in the house. Gucci is ready for his new forever home, and he can`t wait to meet his new people!
