My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ms. Valerie Felicity Frizzle: Your New Best Friend

If you’re looking for a cat who embodies grace, affection, and a little bit of resilience, look no further than Ms. Valerie Felicity Frizzle. This stunning 3-year-old lady came to us as a stray, but she’s clearly meant for the `indoor life` of luxury. She spends her afternoons perched in her cat condo, keeping a close eye on our lobby. She is incredibly affectionate and ready to shower her new family with love.

When she arrived, we noticed she had Plasma Cell Pododermatitis (also known as `Pillow Feet`). This caused some swelling in her paw pads, but she has been a champ during her treatment! She’s currently responding well to Doxycycline. While she’s feeling much better, her new family will need to work with a vet to continue her care and ensure her paws stay comfortable.

Ms. Valerie Felicity Frizzle is positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). While this sounds scary, many FeLV+ cats live wonderful, happy lives! She simply needs to be an indoor-only cat, be the `only child` (or live with other FeLV+ cats), and have regular vet check-ups to keep her immune system strong.

We`re unsure of her experience with cats, dogs, or children. Our team is happy to guide slow introductions to resident pets or younger family members.

Ms. Valerie Felicity Frizzle is spayed and has received core vaccinations (feline distemper, rabies), flea preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped.

If you have any questions about Ms. Frizzle, feel free to reach out at (920) 733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org or stop by during our open hours to take a look around!
