My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet girl was rescued from the mean streets of Tampa, trying to hold her own as she was bullied by her fellow street cats. We know nothing of her past, but because she is so sweet and calm, we must assume that she was someone's pet and either was dumped or got lost. She wasn't microchipped when found. It was discovered upon spaying that she was newly pregnant. Fortunately, she reached safety with us before more unwanted kittens were born.
Mystique is a gentle soul. She keeps to herself, although she gets along fine with the other cats. She welcomes loving attention. She's been absolutely no bother since she arrived her in September. Mystique enjoys lounging in one of our screened-in area, and we hope that her new and forever home will be able to accommodate that desire.

Additional adoption info

Please email for an application to thelittlecats@gmail.com We do check references, including your veterinarian. Pre and/or post adoption home visits may be conducted. Prior to adoption, all TLC cats are tested for FIV/FeLV, spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and healthy in every way! We diligently seek to match the needs and purrsonality of the individual cat with the adoptive family. We believe that the adoption is a life-time commitment and should not be entered into lightly.

More about this rescue

The Little Cats' Rescue (TLC-Rescue) was founded in 2003. We are an all volunteer staff with foster homes and "the sanctuary," where the cats live happily and freely together, uncaged. We in aggressively promote spay/neuter through education and assistance.

The Little Cats' Rescue is in need of volunteers in many areas: socialization, transportation, webmaster, clerical, fundraising, adoption center attendants, handy-person, kenneling, etc. TLC is a Florida 501(C)3 non-profit corporation, and all donations are tax deductible. Please email if you are able to help in any way - time, money, supplies, or all of the above.
