Meet Harrison – Working Barn Cat Harrison is an approximately 2-year-old male domestic shorthair who is available for adoption as a barn cat. Harrison is independent, feisty, and not interested in human companionship, making him best suited for life as a working cat rather than a traditional indoor pet. He would thrive in a barn, shop, warehouse, or property setting where he can provide natural pest control while maintaining his space and independence. Harrison is neutered, current on his rabies vaccination, and ear tipped, which identifies him as part of a managed outdoor cat program. Harrison's adoption fee is $30. If you have a safe outdoor structure and are looking for a dedicated working cat, Harrison may be a great fit. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
