Julius is a 1.5 year old neutered male cat who gets along well with other cats. Here’s what his foster volunteer says bout him:

How would you describe the cat's general personality?

Julius is shy but very sweet and calm

Does the cat enjoy being pet?

He likes to be stroked

If yes, on what parts of its body does the cat like to be pet?

He likes to be stroked along his body

Are there any parts of its body that the cat does NOT like being touched?

Top of the head

Does the cat come on your lap?

Not so far

Does the cat like to be held?

Not so far

Does the cat sleep in your bed?

No

Does the cat seek your attention?

He likes to sit in the living room and observe me/others

Does the cat like to play?

I have not seen him paly

What are the cat's favorite games and toys?

I haven't played with him much but he likes to watch my cats play fetch

How vocal is the cat?

He meows at meal time

What kinds of sounds does the cat make?

Just a bit of meowing

Does the cat scratch a scratcher?

I have one but he hasn't used it or my rug (which my other cats DO scratch)

If no, please explain.

Does the cat always use the litter box?

99% of the time, he used my bath tub ONCE after I moved his litter box out of the bathroom. I put it back into the bathroom and no issues since then.

If no, please explain.

What food and frequency is the cat currently eating?

Mix of kibble and wet food twice a day moring and evening

Is the cat picky about food?

No

What is the cat's favorite treat?

He likes friskies treats, no interest in fancy salmon skin treats i bought

Does the cat ever swat (claws in) at you? If so, under what circumstances?

He scratched me once when I got too close to him around day four, since then he has warmed up to me. He also hissed if i got near him uring meals but that stopped around day 4

Has the cat ever scratched (claws out) you?

Once

Does the cat ever nip (teeth without breaking skin) you?

No biting, but he's not often close to me :(

Has the cat ever bitten you (breaking skin)?

To the best of your knowledge, how does the cat react to new people? Social? Fearful?

He is shy, that's the best word. He is a cool observer most of the time

If you have observed the cat with other animals, please describe how they get on?

He gets along great with my cats, no issues playing, sleeping, meal time, seems to be great with cats right away

Does that cat have any cute/quirky traits that aren’t covered by the previous questions?

In your opinion, what is the best thing about the cat? Why should an adopter choose THIS cat to adopt?

He is a laid back character, I have loved how he has started observing me and my cat family in the evenings, he is obviously sweet with my cats and even though we aren't buddy buddy (yet) I know there is a sweet cuddly guy in there, just on his own schedule

What are the cat's challenges and how have you found to best manage them?

I took your advice to just go on his schedule and, beyond his aloofness/shyness he has no issues. No furniture damage, no real issues i would say.
