My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Diesel is a cute two-year-old terrier mix that is on the “hunt” for a new home. He was adopted from another shelter here in the state, but his owner brought him here and turned him in. MHS checked Diesel out and made sure he had all of his vaccinations, that he was heartworm negative, that he had a microchip, and that he was neutered. Check! All done and ready to go. Oh there is one thing they have discovered about Diesel. There cannot be any cats in the home with Diesel. As far as Diesel is concerned cats are on the “naughty” list!

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
