My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mittens was surrendered to the San Diego Humane Society due to his owner's housing restrictions. He is 13 years old and weighs 14 pounds. Mittens is super sweet and friendly, and as you can see in the video, he LOVES to be petted. We are in love with this cuddly, snuggly lap kitty!

Unfortunately, diagnostics show that Mittens has stage 2 kidney disease and is also diabetic. This means we give him an injection every 12 hours, after breakfast and dinner, to regulate his blood sugar. Not surprisingly, Mittens is a VERY good boy for this!

We would love to show you the ropes as far as his diabetes goes, and remember - we cover all of the supplies needed and testing for life!
