If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Rosie is a nearly 2-year-old, medium-sized mixed-breed dog with a huge heart and lots of love to give. She is sweet, affectionate, and gentle, and has never shown aggression. When she’s calm, she’s a cuddle bug who bonds deeply with her people.
Rosie had a rough start to life and is a sensitive, anxious girl who needs a patient home. She has a lot of energy and does best with regular exercise and mental stimulation—when she can burn that energy, her anxiety improves. She would thrive with someone who enjoys daily walks or structured activities.
Rosie can be fearful of new people, dogs, and sudden movements, and may bark or growl out of fear (not aggression). She needs continued socialization and a calm, consistent environment. A quieter home with experienced owners and limited foot traffic would be ideal. Another calm dog may help her feel secure, but it’s not required.
We love Rosie deeply and are committed to finding her a forever home where she can feel safe and thrive.
