Peanut was left in an apartment. she is a little shy until she get to know you then just is a lover. She enjoys being held and petted. she is not fond of the adult cats in the room but tolerated the kittens. she will make someone a wonderful companion

Cat adoption fees are $40 (cash or check), and include spay/neuter and rabies.

The City of Mesquite Animal Shelter helps reunite lost pets with their owners, cares for the animals brought to the shelter, and handles pet adoptions. Our Animal Control officers take part in public safety, resolve animal and pet issues, enforce city ordinances, perform welfare checks, process/investigate bite reports, and fulfill rabies quarantines.
