Meet Butter, a gorgeous chocolate Poodle/Lab (F1 NOT Hypoallergenic) cross puppy with a heart as sweet as her name! Butter was born on 10/11/2025 and currently weighs 18 pounds. Her mom is a black Standard Poodle, and while dad is unknown, he was clearly a Labrador Retriever—giving Butter that classic doodle look and loving personality.
Butter is very sweet, playful, and affectionate, and she truly thrives around people. She gets along great with everyone she meets and would make a wonderful addition to a family home. Butter would love having kids to play with, a yard to explore, and plenty of cuddle time after a fun day. She has an easygoing, social nature that makes her a great fit for both active households and calmer family settings.
As a young puppy, Butter is still working on house training and will need a family willing to provide patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement as she continues learning. With love and guidance, she’s sure to grow into a well-mannered, devoted companion.

Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until her puppy cuteness wears off.
You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, she may chew on anything within her reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc.
Her adoption fee is $250. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar.
Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org.

Our adoption events are held each Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
