Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Location: Otsego, MN
Knox is potty-trained and believes there’s no such thing as too close. He’s happiest curled up on the couch, leaning into his people, soaking up every bit of love he can get. He walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys having space to stretch his legs, and lives for simple joys like belly rubs, treats, and quality time with his humans. He LOVES to give kisses! 💙
Knox forms deep bonds and wants to be with his people 200% of the time. Being alone or kenneled is hard on him — not because he’s naughty, but because his heart is wired for connection. When his people are home, Knox is calm, content, and quiet, fully at peace just knowing he’s not alone.
Knox does enjoy toys — especially squeaky ones, and the louder, the better in his book. He also loves walks, mental enrichment, and uninterrupted attention from those he loves most.
Knox is friendly and affectionate, though he may eagerly nudge his way into the spotlight if another dog is getting attention. He would thrive as an only dog or alongside a relaxed canine companion who doesn’t mind sharing space with a dog who simply wants to be close. His history with cats is unknown.
Knox is currently living nicely with a 12- and 9-year-old and is doing great with them. Because he’s a bigger, enthusiastic guy, children under nine may be a bit too small for him, but he clearly enjoys having kids around to love on him.
Knox’s perfect forever home is one where:
Someone is around most of the time
Walks and brain games are part of the daily routine
Affection is given freely and often
A dog who lives for his people is truly appreciated
Knox isn’t just looking for a place to land — he’s ready for his forever home. He’s hoping for someone who will choose him completely, stay close, and show him that he never has to feel alone again. If you’re searching for a loyal shadow, a warm presence on the couch, and a dog whose whole world will be his people, Knox is ready to begin his forever by your side.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
