Meet Kevin – The Purring Lap Kitten!

Kevin is a sweet, affectionate boy who absolutely loves to be close to his people. His favorite place to be? Curled up on your lap, soaking in belly rubs while purring non-stop.

He’s not just a cuddle bug — Kevin is also full of playful energy! He has a blast wrestling with other kittens, chasing toy balls, and showing off his climbing skills on the cat tree.

All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ear mites, tested for FELV/FIV and microchipped. You must fill out an adoption application and talk directly with one of our adoption coordinators. An adoption contract must be signed at time of adoption.

Our Petco adoption center is open open daily 10am-5pm and Wednesday 10am-6pm.

The Cat House on the Kings is California's largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center located on 12 acres along the Kings River in Parlier, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Fresno.

At The Cat House, our mission is to:
1) provide a no-cage, no-kill sanctuary for feral and abandoned cats and kittens for the State of California, primarily serving the Central Valley;
2) facilitate the adoption of cats (primarily), dogs and other rescued animals into safe, loving, healthy and permanent homes;
3) educate the public on how to become directly involved in improving the quality of animal welfare;
4) offer low cost spay and neuter referrals.
