Randy is a 1-year-old male kitty who is all about the love! Whether it’s pets, treats, or cozy snuggles, Randy is 100% in — the perfect lap cat for someone looking for a calm, affectionate companion. 💙
Randy can be a little reserved at first, and that makes sense — he came to us as an owner surrender after being harassed by the resident dog in his previous home. He spent much of his life hiding and even had some rough experiences with a cat and a large dog, so he may feel safest as the only animal in a home.
That said, Randy is sweet, gentle, and curious, and we’re still getting to know him in the shelter environment. He’s learning to feel confident and secure, and with the right patient, loving adopter, he’ll thrive.
✨ Quick Facts About Randy:
1-year-old male cat
Loves attention, snuggles, and lap time
Shy at first, but warms up quickly
May do best as the only pet
Came in as an owner surrender
Randy is ready to find a calm, patient home where he can feel safe, loved, and finally get the lap snuggles he’s always dreamed of.

More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Barron County is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter serving Barron County and surrounding areas.
Established in 1978 by a small but dedicated group of core volunteers, the HSBC started out with these volunteers taking animals into their own homes and advertising the need for forever homes for these animals. Over the years, since this humble beginning the HSBC has grown into the organization that it is today. From the homes of volunteers, relying on fundraising and the generous donations of our community, we have grown into and remain in our home on Guy Avenue in Barron.
HSBC is operated by a small staff and relies heavily on volunteers, as well as funds from donations, adoptions, memberships and fundraisers to keep our doors open for the animals needing our assistance.
We sincerely thank you for making this possible.
