Meet Lumon! Lumon is a gentle, sweet little guy who is just starting to discover how good life can be. He came to us after his previous owner was no longer able to care for him, and while change can be hard, Lumon is handling it with resilience and a whole lot of heart.
Because of his past, Lumon can be a bit shy when first meeting new people. He just likes to take things at his own pace. With a little patience and reassurance, he quickly shows his true colors and becomes a loyal, affectionate dog who loves being close to his people. Once you’re in, you’re really in.
Lumon is about a year old and weighs around 12 pounds, making him a perfectly petite little buddy. He has a permanent wink due to missing one eye, but it doesn’t slow him down or stop him from enjoying life. He’s curious, playful, and eager to explore the world around him, especially now that he has the freedom to do so.
He spent much of his early life confined to a crate, so being able to stretch his legs, go on walks, and play with other dogs has been a big and exciting adjustment for him. Lumon truly shines when he’s included, whether that means joining you for a walk, play time, or curling up nearby for some downtime.
He does well with other dogs and would thrive in a home that can continue building his confidence while giving him the love, stability, and comfort he’s been waiting for. Lumon has his whole life ahead of him, and he’s so ready to spend it as a cherished member of a family.
If you’re looking for a sweet, endearing companion with a gentle spirit and a whole lot of love to give, Lumon might be your perfect match! Interested in adopting Lumon? Please inquire today.

More about this rescue
Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities. If you would like to make a donation, find out about the next event, become a volunteer, foster, or adopt your own rescue pug, you are in the right place! You can also follow us on Facebook and twitter, there is always something going on and new pugs needing your help.
