Borscht was from a litter that was rescued from the streets. He was without for much of the first few weeks of life and when my husband brought him home he smelled awful. We have a much older cat (like 13 years older) and they do not get along. Borscht would be best suited to being the only cat. He is extremely playful and LOVES my rowdy children. He expects "love" everytime we enter the home where he flops down and lays on his back and purrs for at least 5 minutes. He's very vocal in the best ways. Has different calls, grunts for everything. He has a history of FLUTD and has an inconsistent litter habit and the need for an Rx diet. If he were the only cat using a litter box that was cleaned daily I'm positive there would be no issues. He honestly is so sweet and if we had found him after our senior cat passed I know we wouldn't have the litter issues. I think it's territorial in nature and we are just at a heart breaking point as a household to have made this decision.
