Hi there! I’m Ricardo and I am on the search for a home. I was found by a kind “apartment dweller” when he found me as he was leaving for his job! Well he couldn’t just leave me there in the parking lot, could he? He loaded me up in his car and made a “dash” to the shelter. He really didn’t know anything about me, except that I was there and I was all alone. Well he went on to work, because he knew that I was in safe hands at MHS. I was never claimed by my family and I am now available for adoption. I have all of my vaccinations for my age, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
