Their adoption process
Most adoptions are long distance, but you will be able to video chat with the pet's foster family once your application is approved to learn more about them and ask any questions you may have. All animals are fully vetted including vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm tested for dogs (and treated if positive), combo tested for cats, microchipped, and current on heartworm/flea/tick prevention.
PAWS of Northeast Louisiana was formed in 2003. We are a small foster-based rescue and have been sending our special Southern pets to fabulous Northern homes since 2010. We work with a wonderful transport who has stops in many Northeastern / New England states: VT, CT, NY, NJ, PA, etc.
