My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Anna and Sylvia were surrendered by southern backyard breeders. Anna is estimated to be 10 years and Sylvia 7 years old. They are petite beagles at 20 lbs. These sweet, friendly, active and playful girls are settling in with our southern rescue partner and are already looking healthier. They will be spayed and have much needed dental cleanings and will be ready to travel north by the end of the month.

Anna and Sylvia enjoy each other’s company. They have never been alone as all the dogs on the property were housed in a communal pen. They did not like being kenneled separately and were quite vocal about it. Once put together they have been quiet and much happier, so we are looking to adopt them together. At the very least, each will need to be placed with another dog in the home. However, preference will be given to applicants willing to adopt them together.

Anna and Sylvia will arrive in Massachusetts January 31st.

Happy Life Beagle Rescue is a foster based rescue. We do not have a physical shelter where you can visit our dogs. All our dogs are in foster homes throughout the New England area or in the south waiting to be transported north.

More about this rescue

Happy Life Beagle Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, is a 100% volunteer run rescue established in 2022. We're a new rescue, however, collectively our Adoption Counselors have been rescuing beagles for decades. All have experience with other rescues, as well as being beagle lovers and owners themselves. Currently, the core volunteers within the rescue have 15 beagles between them.

Our combined experience and knowledge about the breed provides us with a wealth of information to draw from to make the best placements possible, as well as offer support to our adopters.
