Hiya Friends! My name is Zane and I'm a handsome 1.5yr old male German Shepherd. I am located near Greeneville, TN and will be available for transport.

Kids: will do fine with teenagers (13+) or adult only home

1. I have been failed by humans many times in my short 1.5yrs of life. I was at a high kill shelter ready for euthanasia when IDGSR saved me. I was then adopted & returned because it takes me some time to decompress.

2. I'm a sweet boy with a lost soul. I've never had a family that loves me and I'm desperate for one.

3. My forever adopter needs to be a strong leader with a patient heart. I need guidance, socialization, and training. I'm a very smart boy but I just need a leader.

4. Will you paw-promise to train me? I want to learn how to be an obedient boy and do all the cool things the big dogs do. I want to learn recall, leash walking, place command, down, sit, stay, & anything else you can teach me!

5. I would love to go on walks or hikes with you! I'm an active boy and can keep up with your energy.

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
-Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs!
