Josie is a sweet senior tabby with a heart full of love and a gentle soul. She adores human interaction and is incredibly affectionate, pets, attention, and companionship are her absolute favorites. Josie truly shines when she’s with her people and will happily soak up all the love you have to give. She would do well in a home with cat savvy, gentle, and respectful children. Josie has no known experience with other animals, so any introductions should be done slowly and thoughtfully. Josie does have a history of chronic diarrhea, but with her consistent medication and prescription diet, this has been well managed here at the shelter. We strongly recommend continuing this regimen in her future home to keep her feeling happy, comfortable and healthy. Ongoing monitoring of her overall comfort will help her continue to thrive. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
