A friendly, good with kids, sweet Border Collie. Summer is 8 years old, fixed, and a really great dog. She’s an inside dog, who loves playing catch and knows a lot of tricks. She walks well on leash. She would make a great companion for someone looking for company or a good family dog.
She’s always been an only pet and has zero experience living with other dogs.
She had a family for 8 years, who got her as a pup. She does well with kids. They gave her up because of a member of their family having medical problems. The person they gave her to was unable to keep her and the local shelters were full, so a friend reached out to me and I’ve been fostering her since New Year’s Eve.
She has gone to work with me and pet stores and parks. She’s very well behaved. My chihuahuas (not so well behaved) have barked at her a lot, luckily she doesn’t respond in kind.
I have an appointment to get her shots updated and get her microchipped next week.
