Here's what my friends at the shelter had to say about me! “19 pounds. My skinny baby… I love him. Sid is a Houston stray and you can tell he’s had a rough start. No surprise, but he is a BIG treat guy. He knows how to sit and look good for snacks. His little webbed feet are adorable. He is clearly emaciated, but somehow still has the spirit of the happiest boy alive. Sid is on the anxious side, but I spent about 30 minutes with him and he slowly loosened up and started wanting my attention. Just go slow with him. He’s truly just a puppy trying to figure out this big new world. Sid would love a dog sibling and would really benefit from having another dog to help him build confidence."

Bark About It Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based dog rescue. Our mission is to save dogs from urgent situations such as euthanasia lists, overcrowded shelters, and homelessness as well as to educate the public on the importance of spay and neuter. Our rescue is based in Pennsylvania, but we rescue dogs all over. Additionally to urgent cases, we also focus on helping long term shelter stay dogs.
