My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marvin is an active and playful guy who loves to stay on the move and make the most of playtime. He`s especially enthusiastic about wand toys and will happily chase, run and show off his moves when a toy is involved!
Marvin also enjoys affection and he`s fan of chin and head scratches once he`s engaged. He has lived with other cats previously and has shown that he can share his space well with feline companions. He has a confident, curious presence and does best when he has an outlet for his energy. Marvin would likely enjoy a home that appreciates an interactive cat and is happy to spend time playing and engaging with him.
Come spend some time with Marvin and see if he`s the right fit for your home.

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
