My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Sencha, and I'm ready to play—are you? Toys, wrestling matches, exploring every corner of the room... I'm up for all of it! Feather wands, crinkle balls, you name it—if it moves, I'm on it. I'm the kind of kitten who finds adventure everywhere and keeps the fun going all day long.

But here's my little secret: when I've finally tired myself out, I become the sweetest cuddle bug. I'll find my way over to you, give you some gentle headbutts, and melt into your hand when you scratch my cheeks and forehead. It's my favorite way to wind down after a big day of kitten adventures.

I've been living with other cats in my foster home and absolutely love having friends to chase and tumble with. My perfect home would have another playful cat (or a kitten-friendly dog!) to be my adventure buddy, and a family who enjoys my enthusiastic, on-the-go personality.

If you're looking for a spirited little explorer who also knows how to snuggle, I might just be the one for you. Come meet me—I promise to keep you entertained and make you smile every single day!

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Sencha will need to be adopted with one of their siblings (Miu Miu and Hojicha).

The adoption fee for a kitten is $250. For a pair, the adoption fee is $500.

Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
