Pheebs is a young black beauty with a BIG personality and zero hesitation about showing you how much she loves affection. She’s a total wiggle worm for cuddles—she’ll happily plop herself right onto you, roll into your hands for pets, and demand to be held and kissed like it’s her full-time job.
Confident, playful, and very much in your face (in the best way), Pheebs knows what she wants and isn’t shy about it. She’s social, flirty, and endlessly charming. She was named after the nostalgic show Charmed, but honestly, the name fits Friends just as well—she’s goofy, lovable, and full of personality, like Phoebe Buffay. Like both characters, Pheebs is the most outgoing one in the group and absolutely steals the spotlight.
Pheebs would love to have another cat friend to play with and does great with dogs too. That said, she could also thrive as a single cat in a busy home with lots of people—a family who can give her plenty of time, attention, and affection.
If you’re looking for a bold, affectionate, playful cat who brings joy, laughter, and nonstop love into your home, Pheebs is ready to charm her way straight into your heart.
Pheebs is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
