I’m a handsome tuxedo guy with a whole lot of love to give. My world changed when my person passed away, and I was left behind when the house was sold. It was scary and confusing, so I did what I could to feel safe—I hid away in the box spring and stayed very still, hoping everything would be okay.
One day, while the new owner was cleaning the house, I decided it was time to come out. And that moment really says a lot about me. Even after losing my person and my home, I chose trust.
Since then, I’ve shown just how well I’ve adapted. I’m super sweet, very chill, and I truly enjoy attention. I’m the kind of guy who’s happy to lounge nearby, soak up pets, and just be good company. I don’t demand much—just kindness, a safe place to land, and someone to love.
I’ve been through a lot, but I didn’t let it harden my heart. I’m ready for a new beginning with someone who will appreciate a gentle, laid-back soul who knows how to keep going, even after loss. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion, I might be your guy.
Sanin is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
