My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I’m a professional cuddler with an endless supply of affection to share. And yes—belly rubs are not a trap. I truly love them.

When I’m not soaking up snuggles, I’m busy batting balls around my cat track or racing through the house in full-speed zoomies with my bonded best friend and brother, DJ. Together, we run so fast it sounds like a tiny herd of horses thundering by!

I have vision in one eye, but it doesn’t slow me down one bit—or take away from my very good looks. I play hard, cuddle hard, and get around just fine.

I’m very attached to DJ and can feel anxious when we’re apart, so I’d be happiest adopted alongside him. I’m also friendly with smaller dogs and older children, making me a wonderful addition to a loving home.

One final important note: I love crunchy food, I love gravy, and I firmly believe life is best when both are served.

If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and deeply loving pair of companions, we might be the perfect match for you.

My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?

If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.

Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays

More about this shelter

Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999. Since the opening of our adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, we have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. We continue to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services.
