My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Zeus, a lively kitten with boundless energy and a love for play!

Zeus's playful antics are sure to bring joy and entertainment to any home. Adopting Zeus means giving him a chance to share his love and lively spirit, enhancing your life with the joys of feline companionship. Zeus would love to have another playful feline to play with in his new home.

Zeus is a burst of energy wrapped in a fur ball! This curious kitten is always ready to chase a toy or pounce on a shadow, or turn a crinkly paper into an adventure. Between play sessions, Zeus loves to curl up for a quick nap. With this sweet spirit and mischievous sparkle in his eye Zeus is bound to bring love to any home.

Zeus is on a special diet that the vet feels he should be on for life and does has some ongoing dental issues that may require attention later on as he grows older. If you feel that his diet and possible dental concerns down the line are not a financial issue apply for him online.

Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Zeus' person? Apply today!

TIP: We encourage all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
