Please meet beautiful gray girl Galena! Little Galena looks solid gray from a distance, but up close you can see stripes of darker gray on her sides and especially her tail. Galena is named after the solid gray mineral named galena. (Named by a geologist in her foster family, of course!) Galena weighed barely 2 pounds when she was rescued with her sister Agate.
Agate and Galena’s story- During the cold weather on November 24 these two kittens were outside all alone. Fortunately they were found and brought to Forgotten Cats. They immediately went to a foster home where they could enjoy warm beds, plenty of food and tons of attention. Agate and Galena are a delightful bonded pair. They love to snuggle in their human’s lap, as you can see in their photos, and bask in all of the pets and affection. They are about 12 weeks old, as of January 5.
Important Things About Agate and Galena-
-They are adventurers! They love to explore new places and check out new toys. The world is endlessly fascinating as seen through their eyes.
-They are super playful, especially with springs, ping pong balls and wand toys. You will love their entertaining antics and chasing games.
-These two babies are real love bugs, with each other and with their special people. They greet their foster family at the door and quickly snuggle onto a lap. It’s amazing that such deep, loud purrs can come from such tiny bodies. It is a joy to spend time petting these contented kitties.
If you are interested in Agate and Galena, please fill out a no-obligation application and ask to speak with their foster mom. I would love to tell you more about these two precious kittens. Have fun checking out their photos and videos. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/aVewF-u6fK0 .
