Orson is such a cool cat!! He is a friendly, pleasant, handsome male kitty with lots of personality. He comes over when he is called, loves lounging on a pet bed or on the couch near you, and has even gotten on the foster's lap a few times. He is a really great companion who loves his cardboard scratchers and gets the zooms for an occasional energy surge - but a favorite activity is the cat naps! He has a lot of love to give - you will be blessed if you adopt this boy.
He was found outside and so, he is still food insecure (trying to get all the food he can get). This should go away in time as he realizes fighting for food is behind him now that he is inside and being well cared for. He favors a hind leg that may have been an old injury when he was on the streets. It does not seem to bother him, so don't let it bother you. We believe in full disclosure so there are no surprises when you come to meet him. We think you will fall in love with him if you give him a chance. Will you be his new bestie?

The Furry Paws Foster Inn is a very small based rescue.
We mainly help stray kittens get off the streets and into loving homes. Sometimes friendly adult cats and dogs do come through the inn looking for homes themselves.
There is no set time limit for how long an animal can remain in our adoption program. As long as an animal maintains general good health and a sound temperament, we keep him or her until adopted. We work diligently to pair up adopters with the best animal match for their homes and lifestyles.
To make sure that our dogs and cats do not contribute to the pet overpopulation problem, every one is spayed or neutered that comes through the inn. The cost is included in the adoption fee, as are the costs of shots and other necessary care
