My name is River!

River is about 4 years old and does very well indoors. She is fully potty trained and kennel trained. She is very anxious around other animals, including dogs and cats, though she has done well with our guinea pigs. River would do best with someone who is patient and experienced with training, and who can help build her confidence.

When she feels scared or nervous, she may seem intimidating due to a loud bark, but she is truly caring and affectionate once she feels safe. She has primarily been an indoor dog and was not exposed much to the outdoors early on, so she currently struggles with outdoor environments. With time, patience, and consistency, she has the potential to continue improving.
