Maple is 4 years old. She is the sweetest cat, with the softest fur. Once she bonds with you, she will become your shadow, following you around everywhere you go. She loves attention and is very affectionate. She loves to talk, and if she wants something, she will let you know. Maple will play for hours with a cat teaser wand, if it has feathers even better.
I adopted Maple and her sister from the shelter in October of 2021, and they both have been a joy to have in my home. I had to temporarily care for a family members cat in November of 2024, which has turned into permanent care. Maple and her sister do not get along with this other cat. Ive tried my best for the last year to get all three cats on good terms, but I am at the point where I have to give up.
Maple doesnt have a mean bone in her body and will avoid conflict. She responds to stress by hiding, and unfortunately, marking her territory. The Vet says Maple needs a new home without other cats and the problem will go away.
