Joss is a 6-month-old pup with the gentlest eyes and a heart full of hope. Weighing in at about 35 lbs, he’s still underweight, but this brave boy was given a second chance at life and is now on the road to healing.
Despite having a rough start, Joss is an energetic, happy puppy who absolutely adores people. He lights up around human companionship and thrives on affection, encouragement, and kindness. One of his greatest joys is getting out for walks in the woods, where his curiosity and playful spirit really shine.
Joss is also doing wonderfully with crate training and sleeps quietly in his crate through the night. Because he’s a large puppy who is still learning his manners, he would do best in a home with older children who can help support his training and growth.
He is resilient, loving, and eager to experience all the good things he may have missed early on. If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy with a soft soul and a bright future ahead, Joss is ready to meet you!
Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.
Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
