My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tess 🐾
Tess is a beautiful grey girl with the softest eyes and an even softer heart. She’s the kind of companion who makes every day better just by being near you. Calm, affectionate, and sweet-natured, Tess loves spending time with her people—whether that means going for relaxed walks, enjoying quiet cuddle time, or simply lounging nearby while you go about your day.
She has a gentle personality and warms up quickly, showing off her loving and loyal side once she feels comfortable. Tess would thrive in a home where she can be part of the family and get plenty of love in return. She’s the perfect mix of laid-back and affectionate, making her an easy addition to many different types of homes.
If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a calm soul and a big heart, Tess might just be your perfect match.
Ready to meet your new best friend? Tess can’t wait to meet you.

Additional adoption info

For our dogs, we are a foster-based organization that primarily helps our county government-operated shelter with surrender diversion, i.e. owners rehoming pets, help with behavior issues, etc. In September 2023 we opened a cat adoption center that supports the effort to keep more cats out of the shelter.
