If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I have had him since he was a six month old kitten; he is ten now. He is originally from Indiana; we moved here four years ago. He is very affectionate, and loves to meet new people. His favorite thing in the world is snuggling in your lap, and his second favorite is whipped cream. He is usually ok with other pets; it just depends on the animal. He is pretty mild-mannered. He will play a little bit, but in his later years he has become more of a snuggler.
We live in San Mateo.
I'm rehoming for two reasons. First, he seems unhappy with our current living situation -- a small room, where I am away for long periods. Second, my girlfriend is extremely allergic to cats. (It's not a mild allergy, unfortunately.) It breaks my heart because he has been my friend for so long, but he will be happier in a bigger place with someone who can provide more attention and who is not allergic to him.
No rehoming fee; just need to make sure he's in good hands.
