That Girl is a 7-month-old, spayed female Domestic Shorthair tortie who came to us through no fault of her own — her person had some things they needed to take care of.
Right now, she’s playing it cool at the shelter — a little shy, a little mysterious — but don’t be fooled. Underneath that soft tortie side-eye is a super sweet girl who’s just waiting to feel safe enough to fully unleash her charm.
She’s giving:
shy at first, soulmate energy later
soft blinks vs chaos
main character glow-up pending
All she needs is a calm, loving home and a human who understands that confidence blooms with time. Trust us — once she warms up, she’s going to be that cat everyone asks about.
Available for adoption now
Adoption fee WAIVED
If you’re ready to fall a little bit in love with a tortie who knows she’s iconic (even if she’s pretending not to), That Girl is waiting.

2. The adoption fee is $10.00 for non-residents and $15.00 for residents (residents must purchase a city registration)
3. The adopter will be required to sign a contract stating they will have the animal spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies and provide proof to our office with in 30 days of the adoption, or 30 days after the animal turns 4 months.
