Meet Kasper — the best of both worlds!
Kasper is a 25-lb Border Collie mix who beautifully balances adventure and chill. While his breed might suggest high energy, Kasper is actually a pretty relaxed, easygoing guy. He’s extremely observant and loves to quietly watch everything going on around him, taking it all in with those thoughtful eyes.
He has the cutest way of taking treats—gently showing his teeth as he carefully accepts one from your hand—and his manners don’t stop there. Kasper walks very nicely on a leash, knows sit, and is perfectly content to calmly sit and watch the world go by.
At just the right size, Kasper would be an excellent companion for hikes and adventures, but he’s equally happy hanging out on a Saturday afternoon, relaxing and watching the game with you. If you’re looking for a smart, mellow dog who can do it all, Kasper might be your perfect match.
Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.

In addition to rescuing, spaying and neutering, fostering, and finding homes for dogs and cats, UAF provides many services for residents of Yavapai County and their pets.
