My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Athena is a 5 -6 month old female kitten who was rescued from an empty lot with her brother Tripoli. She loves her indoor life and is looking for a forever home!
Athena likes to sit and observe and she comes over when called for pets or treats! She is extremely soft with a loud, affectionate purr. She gets along with other cats and older children.

More about this rescue

We are primarily a TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) volunteer group working in the city of Bonita Springs FL to reduce the free roaming cat population. When we find cats who are too friendly for the street or kittens young enough for adoption, we foster, vet and try to find homes. Our fees do not cover our costs but our goal is to make enough to help the next cat that needs us. We occasionally try to relocate feral/community cats who are in perilous outdoor locations. In that case, the adopter must agree to a 30 day relocation hold in a cage so that the cat can "imprint" on it's new home/caretaker. After 30 days, it can be released. We explain this process in detail to potential adopters.
