My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moonshine is one cool cat. He was living outside on the east side of town, but his caretaker moved to Texas and could not take him with her other pets. She contacted us and we took him in - this was back in 2021. He was adopted out but came back to us recently - his owner had lost her job and just could not keep him.

Moonshine is affectionate and very social. He will roll around in front of you ......flirting for attention! He is good with other cats, but likely not dogs.

He was likely born fall of 2019....has beautiful blue eyes, and is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for fiv/felv. Adoption fee $60.

Purrfect Friends, established in 2005, is a volunteer-run, nonprofit 501c3 organization. With over 5,600 cats adopted, we work to combat cat overpopulation and suffering in the Cincinnati area. There is no shortage of cats and kittens in need of homes! Our efforts include rescuing cats in need, assisting with spaying and neutering, providing high quality medical care, and supporting Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) initiatives. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership.
We Are A No Kill foster-based Rescue
We have no physical location – all of our cats live in our dedicated volunteers’ homes. We are passionate about making the best possible match for adopters and the cats and kittens in our care. Purrfect Friends has a special commitment to mom cats – when we help with kittens, we help the moms too! Members of our “No moms left behind club” are fully vetted and incorporated into our foster program until their loving homes are found.
