     Walnut is a 3-year-old, 40-pound Beagle mix who has mastered the art of being just right. Not too big, not too small—he’s the Goldilocks of dogs and ready to wiggle his way into your heart. With his friendly personality and classic Beagle charm, Walnut is all ready to find his forever family.
     This handsome boy gets along great with other dogs and would be thrilled to join a multi-dog household where he can have a doggy buddy or two to pal around with. But Walnut would also be perfectly content as your one and only, soaking up all the love and attention like the treasure he is.
     Walnut is always up for being part of the family—whether that means a leisurely walk, some backyard sniff-abouts, or curling up beside you at the end of the day. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
