Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Dexter!
Dexter is a handsome boy beagle with a heart as big as his floppy ears. He’s super sweet, incredibly friendly, and always happy to make a new friend. If you’re looking for a loving companion, Dexter is your guy!
Dexter is a cuddly guy ready soak up all the affection you can give! He also does great on walks, and true to his beagle nature, he loves to take his time and follow his nose, sniffing out all the exciting scents along the way.
Dexter would be a wonderful match for someone who enjoys a laid-back walking buddy and a cuddly, affectionate dog at home! He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of his vaccinations. You can meet him at the CASPCA between the hours of 12 and 6 PM daily, no appointment necessary.

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
