Muffin is one of the most loyal companions you could ever ask for. As an incredibly sensitive guy, it took him a while to adjust to the new luxuries of an indoor lifestyle. And while he can still be a bit shy, once he gets to know you, he will want nothing more than to make you happy.
This long, lanky, handsome boy is hilarious at playtime. He jumps and dives for wand toys and carries sparkly puff balls around in his mouth as if they were his children. He loves other cats and will wrestle and play with them, while also being very careful of their boundaries. He will do best with a confident and friendly feline companion, who can encourage him to be brave and offer some fun and companionship.
While Muffin started out life channeling his fear into hisses, he is now incredibly affectionate with his special person(s). Chin scratches literally make him melt, and he prefers to be by your side as much as possible. Don’t be shocked if you wake up with him curled up near (or on top of) you, and if not there, he will certainly come to find you once he hears you’re awake.
Muffin should do just fine with teens and adults (younger kids may be a bit much for his delicate sensibilities). He will likely do just fine with other cats and dogs (with a proper introduction). He will need an adopter who is willing to be slow and patient with him at first as he adjusts to a new environment, but they will have the full support of his foster for tips and tricks along the way. And while he will likely never be the life of a party, he will absolutely make his way right into your heart.
Muffin is ready for his furrrever home and can't wait to meet you!
Muffin is about 2 years old, healthy, neutered, microchipped and has tested negative for FIV/FELV.
