My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dora is estimated to be 3Y8M old and has been waiting in a foster home for her forever family to find her, her entire life. Almost 4 years in foster care is too long! Dora is spayed, litter box trained and her fosters describe her as an adventurous rabbit with a curious spirit. She is always eager to explore and loves to free roam more than anything (except for maybe snack time, with bananas being her favorite treat!)

Her ideal forever family would allow her to free-roam all or most of the time in a bunny proofed room. So far she has shown us that she prefers to be the only bunny in the home, but may be open to a friendly cat or small dog friend.

More about this rescue

At Southeast FL Rabbit Rescue, we believe that every rabbit and guinea pig deserves a loving forever home. Our rescue is 100% volunteer-run and operates entirely through donations and the kindness of our foster families. When you choose to adopt a rescue rabbit or guinea pig from us, you’re not only saving one precious life but also creating an opportunity for us to rescue another animal in need.

All of our rabbits and guinea pigs are spay / neutered and receive annual wellness exams from experienced exotic veterinarians to ensure that they are healthy. They are housed in loving foster homes where they receive daily socialization and rabbits are litter-box trained.
