My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Loopy is a neutered, 3-year-old Dutch mix and one of four siblings (Dora, Elsa, and Aurora) born from an accidental litter. They have been waiting 3 years for a forever home.

His foster describes him as shy, sweet, and sensitive. Loopy loves the simple pleasures in life: organizing his blanket just the way he likes it, lounging in his tunnel or hidey house, and of course .. food! He’s a real foodie and the way to his heart is definitely through his stomach.

Loopy is looking for a calm, patient family who will give him the time and space he needs to feel safe. Loopy was previously bonded, but due to excessive barbering from him, the pair had to be separated. While we’re open to trying a bond again with the right match, he may thrive as a spoiled single bun.

More about this rescue

At Southeast FL Rabbit Rescue, we believe that every rabbit and guinea pig deserves a loving forever home. Our rescue is 100% volunteer-run and operates entirely through donations and the kindness of our foster families. When you choose to adopt a rescue rabbit or guinea pig from us, you’re not only saving one precious life but also creating an opportunity for us to rescue another animal in need.

All of our rabbits and guinea pigs are spay / neutered and receive annual wellness exams from experienced exotic veterinarians to ensure that they are healthy. They are housed in loving foster homes where they receive daily socialization and rabbits are litter-box trained.
