My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I’m Cougar!

I’m a handsome grey and white boy with a big heart and an even bigger love for playtime. Toys are one of my favorite things, and when I’m done romping around, you’ll often find me cozied up with my blanket, happily suckling away. It’s my comfort habit, and it helps me feel safe and content.

I should tell you a little about my health so there are no surprises. I’ve had calicivirus, and because of that I have some corneal scarring in my left eye. It doesn’t stop me from being a playful, affectionate kitten, but it is part of my story. I may also be chronic with upper respiratory symptoms for the rest of my life, which means I might have sniffles or congestion from time to time. I’ll need an adopter who understands this and is comfortable keeping an eye on me and working with a vet as needed.

Despite all of that, I am incredibly sweet, loving, and full of joy. I adore attention, enjoy being near my people, and bring a lot of warmth wherever I go. If you’re looking for a playful, gentle soul who will happily cuddle with you after a long day, I just might be your guy.
