Lillith will tell you that she is not a stuffed animal to be played with, or your easy happy go lucky rabbit who will let just anyone be with her. Lillith is more woman than that and she will make sure you know it! She wants someone to earn her trust, and to treat her with respect.
Lillith has been through a lot recently, and is looking for a home with someone who will give her the time, respect, and treats that she deserves. In return, she will reward you with the love and devotion of a rabbit who has gained respect for you. Once she is comfortable, she loves playing with her puzzle toys and hay enrichment tubes.
She has been loving her free roam time in the cottage and if you have a treat bag of pea flakes, she will quickly want to show how beautiful and impressive she is to get them.
We are looking for an adult, quiet home for Lillith. We have not yet seen her around other rabbits at this time, so are not sure if she may be able to have a rabbit companion, but she may!
We are excited to see who is interested in welcoming such a deserving girl.

Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. is founded on the belief that all animals have a natural right to humane treatment including proper care and safe shelter. Due to overpopulation, there are insufficient homes for most cats and dogs. Some are lucky enough to find temporary shelter and a few even find permanent homes. However it is a devastating fact that the majority are either euthanized or forced to chance life without shelter.
To support our belief and to relieve the unnecessary suffering of animals, we shall:
1.Extend every effort to find, evaluate, and secure good adoptive homes for animals in our care.
2.Provide animals with medical services and behavior therapy to the extent of our ability.
3.Adhere to a “no-kill” policy: animals shall not be euthanized for the purpose of providing space for new animals.
4.Adhere to a 100% spay and neuter policy.
5.Maintain continuing humane education programs and in particular to schools.
