I’m Hunky, a little Boston Terrier who’s finally getting the chance to discover what happiness feels like. I’m just a year old and only 12 pounds, but don’t let my size fool you — I’ve got plenty of playful energy, a silly puppy spirit, and a whole lot of love to give. My first year was pretty tough. I spent most of it in a crate, so the world is still new to me. I’m learning things for the very first time — how to explore, how to play, how to relax, and how to trust that good things are finally here to stay. Even though I’m not fully trained yet, I am crate trained, I’m smart, and I pick things up quickly. With patience and kindness, I know I can learn anything. I get along great with other dogs, and I still behave like the goofy little puppy I never got to be. I love to run, bounce, and play, but I also adore curling up for a good snuggle. Being held is one of my favorite things in the whole world. After everything I’ve been through, feeling safe in someone’s arms means everything to me. What I dream of most is a home where I can stretch my legs, play to my heart’s content, and soak up all the love and attention I missed out on. If you’re looking for a sweet, teachable, cuddly little guy who’s ready to start his real life, I’m your boy. My adoption fee is $450.
