My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jelly is a stunning polydactyl dark tortie with extra toes and extra love to give. This little social butterfly adores people and never misses a chance to be right in the middle of the action. One of her favorite spots? Perched on your shoulders like a tiny, purring parrot — she also loves being carried around so she can supervise everything you’re doing (very important kitten business!).

When it’s playtime, Jelly is ALL IN. Dangly toys are her absolute favorite, and she’ll happily bat, pounce, and leap until she’s ready to recharge with some affection. She’s confident, curious, and bursting with personality — the kind of kitten who makes every day feel a little brighter.

Jelly is FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus positive) and is looking for a loving home that understands her needs. FeLV can sound intimidating, but FeLV+ kittens can still live happy, fulfilling lives — they simply need the right home environment and routine veterinary care. FeLV is spread through close cat-to-cat contact (like grooming and sharing food/water bowls) and is not contagious to humans or other animals.

Important info: Jelly must be adopted together with her sisters, Marmalade and Butter, who have also tested FeLV+. They are a bonded trio and truly rely on each other for comfort, confidence, and companionship. They can go to a home with no other cats, or a home with cats who are already fully vaccinated for FeLV, but they cannot go to a home with cats who are not vaccinated.

If you’re looking for a confident, affectionate little shoulder-kitty who comes with two built-in best friends, Jelly + Marmalade + Butter might just be your perfect match.

Adoption fee: $300 for all three kittens

If you’re looking for a playful, people-loving kitten (and two equally wonderful sisters) to brighten your home, Jelly is ready to climb right into your heart.

Additional adoption info

You must be 18 years or older to adopt an animal. A valid ID is required.

If you own your own home, please provide proof of home-ownership; a mortgage receipt, tax bill, water bill or deed will suffice.

If you rent, please bring your lease which states the type of pet you are interested in and that it is accepted or the name and phone of your landlord so we can verify the pet is allowed. Inquire with your landlord about any size or breed restrictions.

Please check with your home owner’s insurance company or landlord to find out if they have any restrictions on the breed(s) of dog they cover. Common breeds that may not be covered include: Pit Bulls, Doberman Pinschers, Rottweilers and German Shepherds.

For the health and safety of the pet you are interested in adopting and your existing pets, we ask that you provide proof of current vaccinations and spay/neuter status for pets in your home. (We may be able to call your veterinarian if you do not have a copy available.)

A new pet is a family decision and we ask that all members of your family meet the pet and agree on the suitability for your household.

If you already have a dog(s) in your home please bring the dog(s) with you to meet the dog you are considering to see if they are compatible.

Complete an adoption application and talk with a staff member for more information about the animal you are considering.
