Meet Neyetam and Kiri, an adorable, sweet bonded pair of small dogs who are looking for a home together. They are both soft, gentle, and shy by nature, especially when meeting new people, and will need a patient and understanding adopter to help them feel safe and confident. While they may take some time to warm up to people, they are very playful with each other and love to run around, chase, and enjoy happy moments together. Their bond is strong, and they truly bring out the best in one another. Once they feel comfortable, Neyetam and Kiri enjoy gentle pets and cozy lap time, happily settling in for quiet affection. With patience, consistency, and love, these sweet dogs will blossom into loyal and loving companions.
They would do best in a peaceful home with children over the age of 7 who can be mindful of their sensitive nature, giving them the time and space to adjust comfortably while they continue to build confidence together, all while staying side by side with their best friend. Neyetam and Kiri are currently available by appointment. Please call (831) 264-5422 to learn more about them and meet them! Primary Color: Apricot Weight: 8.1 Age: 1yrs 6mths 2wks

Four simple steps to adopt a pet
1. Visit the SPCA at 1002 Monterey-Salinas Highway across from WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Visit with the pet you are interested in adopting to see if his personality fits your lifestyle.
2. If you are adopting a new dog and already have one at home, you will need to introduce them at the SPCA to ensure a good match. When adopting, please bring your current dog with you. Our animal care staff will assist you with introducing your current dog to the dog you are hoping to adopt. We also prefer when possible that all family members living in the home meet any new pet before adopting.
3. The SPCA adoption process takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. All paperwork, vaccination records, and microchip information will be provided at this time.
4. Take your new lifelong family member home!
We understand that sometimes potential adopters are at work or school, coming from long distances, or need time to gather pets and family together to meet their potential new adoptee. Because of this, the SPCA offers a 24 hour hold on adoptable pets.
Holds cost $30 for a 24 hour period.
